It's been snowing mostly on, sometimes off for the past couple of days.
When the snow comes down it comes in large, lazy flakes that you just want to catch on your tongue. This morning I got up early. The house is quiet and calm and so is the street outside. I'm sitting by the fire and the Christmas tree, looking out the window at a world blanketed in white.
It's the perfect winter calm before the Christmas frenzy, which will begin later today with our first family gathering.
Hope you've enjoyed this moment with me.
Peace,
Julie

Yay! Just so you know we check weekly for updates, so were delighted to read your news. Thanks for sharing the winter perspective. Warm and sunny here in Benghazi, but that fireplace sure sounds nice. . . .
